Janis Cleugh, (TRICITY NEWS) — The recent unveiling of a $10-million sales centre drew some big names to southern Coquitlam.
Ryan Beedie, president of Beedie, one of Western Canada’s largest industrial and residential development companies, was at the reception for the Fraser Mills presentation centre last Thursday, Jan. 11.

Fraser Mills is the master-planned community on the historic sawmill site that Beedie is developing; once built, the 96 acres will be home to some 10,000 residents next to the Fraser River.

Ryan Beedie, who last year was named the Business Leader of the Year by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, was at the West Coast-style sales centre off United Boulevard for the celebration.

The private party also included food and drinks from the Glowbal Restaurant Group, and entertainment.

Since sales launched last year, the first tower at Fraser Mills, called Debut, has sold out and units for the second tower, Encore, went on the market last week; that 32-storey high-rise will have 306 homes.
